Jack Daniel's Distillery and the Perfect Holiday Cocktail

A perfect fall day, a Tennessee getaway, and exploring Jack Daniels Distillery was a fabulous way to spend the weekend. There aren’t many places that are just so quintessentially small town USA but Lynchburg Tennessee has definitely got the small town feel down and the shining feature of the town is the Jack Daniels Distillery. A stickler for branding and perfection from the very beginning, Jack Daniels has not only perfected his whiskey, but the brand itself. The crisp white text on a black label, the old schooled font with a rustic, modern look in the most updated version is recognizable across the world. Getting to adventure through Lynchburg and tour the distillery was the perfect date and way to spend a fall Saturday together.

We started the day with a drive from Atlanta to Lynchburg, where we got to see the changing leaves and the river snake through the mountains. The scenery is gorgeous and it made me even more excited to actually get to see Lynchburg and the distillery. Once there, it was much colder than I anticipated so I added on all the layers, like this incredibly soft scarf, and cozied up for our tour.

The tour itself was well done and walked through the whiskey making process, what makes Jack Daniels Whiskey different and the history of Jack Daniels starting with the man himself, up to present day. Getting to see where it all began was amazing and I would 10/10 recommend trying it for yourself, especially if you’re a whiskey lover.
