The second that Thanksgiving is over, I am Christmas all the way. Tree up, red sweaters out, wreath on the door, the whole nine yards. With the festivities and the lights and don’t even get me started on the food and peppermint everything, it feels like there is just a little bit of magic seeping into our every day lives. I love this time of year. Normally I am a crazy procrastinator but I had so much fun picking out gifts this year, that I am done with all of my Christmas shopping! D.O.N.E. and now I am sharing my top 25 gifts for Christmas
I’ll be updating some of my favorite places to shop here until the 26th (Officially Cyber Monday) but I learned that most places run the same deal all through the week so you can get a head start!
This weekend was filled with mostly food, a lot of The Great British Baking Show, and Clemson football. Over all I’d say it was smashing and I loved every minute of it.
I love getting lost in the pages of well written works and taking a step back from reality. While my book choices have changed, my love of reading certainly hasn’t so here the books currently on my book list!
For me, there are two types of days: the days where I love my job, I feel inspired by my passion project and I have all the creativity in the world, or the days where I feel like I’ve run into a road block. Here are tips for finding inspiration when feeling uninspired.
This weekend was all about enjoying family and being present. You could say it was a family affair but it was so much fun getting to spend so much time with family.

On Thursday I went to 116 State Espresso and Wine Bar to meet a new friend. Although its September and everyone is talking about fall, it's still blazing hot here in Columbia so I wanted an outfit that was casual enough for the temperatures but still felt put together.
This list is just the basics–seven essential items that I have bought, will use, and be repurchasing at the Nordstrom sale this year!

Linen: the perfect summer fabric and one of my favorites for keeping and looking cool
My day to day is a little bit crazy, always different, and very much on the go. Between running Simplicité & Co, working as the community manager for Athleta, and coaching a high school girls varsity soccer team, I am always running around and usually have to be prepared for anything. My new favorite activewear brand allows me to do what I need to do without missing a beat.
I'm currently obsessed with these dusty pink All Birds, this beautiful matte rose lipstick by Burts Bee's (Lily Lake), and this Rose Gold Wooden Watch by JORD and have worn the three of them basically daily since I've gotten them. They're a great way to transition into spring and add a feminine touch to any outfit.
Because I love a good sale I bought a few sweaters to finish out the rest of the winter cozy and in style.
When it comes to packing for tropical adventures, I like to stick to a few different colors and fabrics that seem really out of season for the winter like bright whites, and blues and lots of linen.
Here's a quick list of some of the brands I love that have amazing sales going on right now! Find something for everyone on your list, including yourself!

I love great beauty products like the next girl and love trying a new lipstick or hair product but when it comes to skincare and makeup, I am extremely cautious about what goes on my face and have recently begun switching out my skin care and makeup products for "cleaner products."
The start of a new season (hello, spring!) is the perfect time to clean out old makeup. As the season shifts, the makeup I wear also shifts, which means it's time for a complete refresh of my makeup bag, from what I wear to what gets thrown out.
For the next time you get burned and are googling "SUNBURN RELIEF FAST" here are some tried and true tips.
Like any self-proclaimed beauty nerd, I know the packaging doesn't make the product but there are some products that not only look like a million bucks but they make me feel beautiful and chic when I use them.
As I scroll through Pinterest and Instagram, I’m constantly thinking “I wish my hair looked like that.”

For your own Italian night in, make this homemade slow cooker zucchini pasta sauce tastes like it's filled with oil and cream but is much lighter without sacrificing taste and it's so simple. I've found some snacks that are still really fun to eat (like puffed corn, and lots of chocolate, you're welcome) but these are at least a little healthier and a less processed.
There are few places with the magic of Charleston, South Carolina. This beautiful city is filled with ole fashioned Southern charm, sweet smells of honeysuckle and salty air, and timeless beauty. I love the atmosphere of spending a night out in Charleston. It's national donut day so we put together a list of five must try donut shops that we love or can't wait to try.

As we've grown up and moved to different parts of the country, it gets more difficult for all of us to get together but Christmas is our opportunity to have fun, let loose, and enjoy spending time together.

Summer is my favorite season of the year. Not only is the weather warm, and the sun shining, but the colors are bolder and more vibrant.
